About Florida Public Records
We set up this site to help people in Florida track down the public records they need. Court files, property deeds, birth and death certificates. They can be tough to find on your own. Our goal is to cut through the hassle and point you to the right place.
Why We Do This
Public records should be simple to access. When you know how your state works, you can make better choices. We want to send you straight to the correct source so you waste less time searching through county and state offices.
Looking into a court case? Need to pull up a deed? Have to grab a copy of a marriage certificate? We show you the office that has what you need.
What You Get Here
- All 67 Counties: Phone numbers, street addresses, and office hours for each courthouse, clerk of court, and tax collector in the state
- City Guides: Learn which county holds records for your city or town
- Record Types: Understand the difference between court files, property records, and vital documents
- Search Tools: Use our links to outside sites that search large data sets for you
What We Are Not
This is a private site. We are not connected to the state, federal government, or any county office. We do not store actual records and we cannot:
- File or retrieve official documents for you
- Provide certified copies
- Offer legal advice
- Guarantee that our information is complete or accurate
If you need an official document with a seal, go directly to the appropriate government office. We just help you figure out where that office is.
Outside Search Tools
Some links on this site lead to paid search services run by other companies. Those sites operate under their own terms and fees. We may receive a small commission when you use them, which helps us keep this site free for everyone.
Is Our Info Right?
We try hard to stay up to date, but things change. An office might move locations. Hours might shift. Give them a call first if you plan to visit in person.
See something wrong? Tell us about it and we will get it fixed quickly.
